Development Services
Moana has a more than 40–year history in the development business. Established by Bob Harmon in 1959, Moana Corporation developed several premium resort condominium properties including The Tahoe Tavern, Tavern Shores, Chinquapin and Cedar Point at Lake Tahoe, Kiahuna Plantation in Hawaii and several other residential, retail and commercial projects. In 1985, together with Claude Rouas, the company developed Auberge du Soleil and in 1987 acquired and redeveloped the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California, later sold in 2001.
Today, Moana continues to develop, either independently or on a joint venture basis, resorts, hotels, spas, and restaurants and related residential and retail projects. Our development services include:
